Naturally, life drawing goes hand-in-hand with Gretel's practice. The main aspect of her work is exploring figurative shapes and forms; closely considering movement through the use of mark making. Through attending life drawing sessions Gretel is able to practice basic skills, but also, it is a place for her to put into practice any ideas she is deliberating for her projects. It is valuable experimentation time, where she is able explore several different marks, shapes and form.
