Still It Turns centers on the idea of human-life and emotional states as an inevitable, ever-turning wheel. The work reflects cycles of dormancy and awakening—periods of rest, contraction, and inwardness, followed by moments of emergence, clarity, and transformation. These phases are not oppositional but interdependent, each necessary to the other.

Rather than ignoring or resisting these shifts, the piece invites acceptance of their larger rhythm. The wheel exists beyond human control, continuously moving toward balance and return. With fleeting moments of agency present in both stillness and action. Stillness and movement coexist, each carrying its own weight within the ever-turning wheel.
