Spring Equinox (First Offerings)

Oil and acrylic on canvas, 51cm x 41cm.

After a long winter comes Spring. No matter how cold it feels and for how long… winter will inevitably hand over the baton and Spring will return. A new year and new offerings, ripe for the picking. This painting symbolises renewal and new beginnings- finally seeing fruits of labour after a period of hibernation and weathering a trying winter.

The seasonal cycle is mirrored in our emotional experiences. Enduring periods of hardship and retreat (a winter) but utilising these times to reflect, rest and regenerate. Stronger. Evolved. Ready for a new season.
